Wrenchable Software LLC ("Wrenchable") operates a software-as-a-service platform that lets mobile RV repair, appliance repair, and trade-service businesses ("tenant businesses") communicate with their customers via SMS. Outbound SMS is transmitted through Twilio, Inc.'s carrier infrastructure under Wrenchable's A2P 10DLC brand registration.
Customers of tenant businesses (the "end users" referenced in the A2P 10DLC submission) consent to receive SMS via one of two documented methods, both described below.
Method 1 — Verbal opt-in during phone intake
Most customers of Wrenchable tenant businesses opt in verbally during their first phone call to the business. Tenant technicians follow this exact script. Wrenchable contractually requires every tenant business to use this script verbatim or one substantively equivalent.
"Before we wrap up — would you like to receive recurring SMS updates about your service appointment with [business name]? We'd text you ETAs, arrival notifications, completion notifications, and a link to pay your invoice when it's ready.
Message frequency varies; typically 1 to 10 messages per service job. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Is that okay?"
After the customer says yes, the technician records the consent in the Wrenchable CRM along with the date, the method ("verbal"), and the technician's user ID. The consent record is stored on the customer's phone-number row and is enforced at SMS send time — Wrenchable's platform will refuse to transmit any SMS to a phone number without an active consent record.
Reviewer note: this script and the storage mechanism are publicly
documented here at https://wrenchable.io/sms-consent and the
runtime enforcement is implemented in the Wrenchable platform's
$lib/server/sms-consent.ts module. The platform is operational
at app.wrenchable.cloud.
Method 2 — Self-service web-form opt-in
Customers who prefer to opt in on the web may use the form below. Submission records your consent against the named tenant business's customer record (if you're already a customer) or queues your consent until they create your customer record.
Brand identity in messages
Every SMS sent through the Wrenchable platform identifies the sending tenant business by name at the start of the message body. Example messages:
